Diving Taught Me:

Bent knees: minor wobble, or major fault? The difference can mean gold for one athlete, bronze for another. And the decision isn’t made by stopwatches; it’s made by judges. Diving is a subjective sport. It takes discipline and persistence. Those character traits learned from Diving carry the weight of my success outside the pool today.

Diving has instilled in me more than I could ever begin to put into words…discipline, dedication, perseverance, and hard work… I think it is best stated in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” I am humbled to have been part of Moss Farms Diving. I hope one day I can give back to someone as much as Diving has given to me.
