Camp
The Moss Farms Diving Tigers offer a one-week summer training camp designed to improve each diver’s fundamentals, confidence and advanced techniques.
Divers of novice ability and higher are eligible to attend this dynamic summer diving camp and must be at least 11 years of age. The coaching staff, which often is enhanced by guest coaching appearances, provides divers with a diverse combination of basic and advanced skills, practiced on 1-meter and 3-meter boards, and 1, 3, 5, 7.5, & 10-meter towers. Divers will also have the opportunity to refine voluntary and optional dives, both on the boards and towers and through dry-land training. A video system provides in-depth video analysis of your diver’s technique.
Moss Farms Diving Summer Camp is ideal for aspiring young divers with a desire to learn new dives and dives of greater difficulty, while perfecting their current repertoire, skill sets and techniques. Diving camp is held in Moultrie, Georgia each summer, usually in June. This is one summer camp in Georgia that is in high demand and space is limited to 25 divers per session, so be sure to reserve your place early.
Facility:
Camp is held at the Moose Moss Aquatic Center and Dry-land Facility in Moultrie. Each camp includes nine diving sessions, which take place in the mornings and afternoons. Preview our state-of-the-art facility!
Cost:
The cost for each session is $575 per diver, and includes both meals and lodging. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due 30 days prior to each diver’s arrival. The remaining balance of $425 is due upon arrival. Failure to pay all fees in advance will result in forfeiture of all deposits and exclusion from the diving camp. Be sure to provide your divers with some extra spending money for a trip to Wal-Mart, and for movie night at the theater. Register now!
Lodging:
Divers enjoy accommodations at Boggy Pond Plantation—a network of six cabins surrounding a 25-acre lake—nestled in the heart of a pine forest and encircled by sweeping open fields. Activities include volleyball, frisbee, fishing and a little R&R for your hard working young diver. Boggy Pond offers divers a true southern ‘camp’ experience and is a great alternative to a college dormitory. Check out a map of the area here.
Again, all meals and transportation are provided during camp sessions. Some home-cooked meals will be furnished by parents of Moss Farms divers. Camp attendees will have adult supervision and are accompanied by chaperones during their stay.
